Decided to try this restaurant since it was highly recommended and I have to say no disappointment at all! We had the West Indies Seafood Roll for an appetizer and they were incredible! We both ordered the crab cake sandwich (served with crinkle fries) and the crab cake was so big you couldn't see the bottom of the bun! No peppers, onions or filler - all crab meat! Definitely stopping by again before we head home later this week!

Great experience! Food was excellent and wait staff were very friendly! They were very patient with us - we had a baby with us and they were great with her! I had seated yellowfin tuna with fried green tomatoes! Perfectly seated! Will be back here!

Nice little spot just off the ICW. Outdoor seating even in winter due to some roll up enclosures. Crab fritters were spectacular. The seafood was light breaded and not overpowered by flavor so you could add their signature sauces to create your own tastes. The blue fin tuna sandwich was very good as well.

The food was fresh, service was great and the view was unbeatable. The seafood egg rolls and any version of the fried oysters are a must have. The indoor seating area isn't huge so I can see there being a wait during peak time. It hit all my soul food and seafood cravings and prices were fair. It's a must try.

Sears Landing is hands down my favorite restaurant on Topsail Island — it’s my go-to every time I’m in town, and for good reason. I always sit at the bar when I visit, and after 30 meals here, I can confidently say I’ve *never* had a bad one. That kind of consistency is rare. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The drinks are just as solid — well made and reasonably priced. Service is consistently prompt, friendly, and welcoming, whether you’re a regular or a first-timer. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like a local. I’ve made the mistake of trying other spots nearby (cough *Beach Shop and Grill* cough) and trust me — I won’t be straying again. Sears Landing gets it right, every single time. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the island. Sit at the bar, soak in the atmosphere, and enjoy a truly great meal.

Looked everywhere for a true brunch spot, but was happy we found this place. It was a recommendation from several locals and I can see why. It’s a cute spot. Parking can be a little tricky during peak times, but not impossible. Highly recommend the West Indies Omelette and French Toast. Sat by the bar facing out and it was a great view.

We arrived at noon on a Saturday and were immediately seated. The menu was extensive and the specials looked good! We both chose crab cakes as were recommended by a friend. They were by far the best we’d ever had since we left the Baltimore area. They were pancake size (!) with almost no breading, so were moist and delicious. The crab chowder was filled with crab! The entrees come with a rack of different sauces that you can sample similar to a bbq restaurant. My favorite was the cocktail, my husband’s was the spicy pink one. We will definitely be returning for more!!
